Administrative Assistant at the International Association of Public Transport Location: Brussels

To provide organisational and administrative support to the Knowledge and Membership Services Department (training programme)
Primary responsibilities will include:
Your role will be to assist the manager in charge of trainings with all logistical, organisational and administrative tasks, a.o:

  • Logistical support in organizing training sessions (promotion, invitations, programmes, contact with suppliers, local hosts, speakers, participants etc)
  • Administrative support and follow-up for training sessions (registrations of participants, invoices, etc)
  • Day-to-day management of agenda
  • Written correspondence (letters, presentations, etc)
  • Planning and organisation of meetings and business trips
  • Active role in provision of UITP services towards its members
Ideal candidate will have the following profile:

  • Excellent knowledge of English (oral and written) and French. Spanish an asset.
  • Good computer skills (MS office/ Internet)
  • Good communication skills
  • Rigorous and with eye for details
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving attitude and sense of initiative
  • Ability to work autonomously and to manage priorities
