Holocaust and Genocide in the Balkans - Impact on Regional Stability Policy. Golubić, Croatia, 19-26 August 2015‏


Association for History, Cooperation and Reconciliation (AHCR) from Obrovac, Croatia together with Center for History, Democracy and Reconciliation from Novi Sad sent a call for Summer School in Golubic, Croatia.


" We invite final-year students of B.A. studies and master's - degree students of history, geography, political science, law, sociology and security studies from Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and EU countries to apply for the summer school "Holocaust and Genocide in the Balkans - Impact on Regional Stability Policy" which will be held from August 19 to August 26. 2015. in Golubić (Obrovački), Croatia.

The program consists of

seminars that examine Holocaust and Genocide in the Balkans across the disciplines, covering theoretical applications on different geographical and thematic contexts;
workshops that help fellows identify primary challenges to implementing Holocaust and Genocide studies projects, and that explore a variety of strategies for addressing them;
visits to sites of memory in Croatia;
Fellows will design individual projects that they will implement upon their return home.
Fellows will live with other students, and have access to a wide range of social and cultural opportunities on the Dalmatian coast.
Fellows will have access to extensive resources and faculty members from different regional and EU universities and institutions.

Summer school students are asked to submit the following documents:
- Certificate of year of studies
- CV
- Recommendation letter

Documents have to be submitted until March 1. 2015.

The organizer provides the funds necessary for the regional travel expenses as well as accommodation expenses.
The decision will be brought on May 1. 2015."
